PIC based LEGO controller 13-aug-2002

• Support for 2 dc-motors (max current: 2A), which is speed controlled using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). The PIC has two internal PWM signal generators, which is used.
• 2 8-segment LED displays. The value to be displayed is send serially from the PIC to two 74LS164N 8-bit serial in/parallel out shift registers through 4 wires: GND, Vcc (5V), CLOCK and DATA
• 2 HEF 40244 BP buffers, which will hopefully help me avoid frying the PIC, if I make any shortcurcuits.
